Welcome to J & J Farm!
J & J Farm has been a part of the West Tennessee community for more than 40 years. We are Jim and Jane Parmer, and along with our family, we have spent decades building a farm centered around hard work, faith, family, and a commitment to raising quality food the way we believe it should be raised.
For more than 30 years, we welcomed customers to our farm store and offered a variety of farm-raised meats and products directly to our community. Throughout the years, we have been blessed to build lasting friendships with so many wonderful families who have supported our farm and become an important part of our story.
A New Chapter In Our Story
After much thought and prayer, our family has made the decision to take J & J Farm in a new direction.
While we have always been proud to offer a variety of individual meat cuts through our farm store, we are now transitioning our focus exclusively to custom beef. Moving forward, J & J Farm will offer beef by the quarter, half, or whole, allowing families to purchase high-quality beef directly from our farm and stock their freezers with the cuts they enjoy.
This is not entirely new to us. Many of our longtime customers have purchased custom beef from us this way for years, and we have consistently maintained a waiting list for our beef. By focusing solely on custom beef, we can continue growing this part of our farm while giving more attention to what has become an important part of our business.
The Same Commitment to Quality
Although our business model is changing, our commitment to raising quality beef remains the same.
Since 1995, we have practiced a chemical-free approach to farming and have remained committed to raising our animals with care and respect. Our cattle are raised naturally, without added hormones or antibiotics, and are given the space and environment to live as nature intended.
We believe that how an animal is raised matters—and that commitment will continue to guide everything we do.
Looking Ahead
As we close the chapter on our retail farm store, we do so with grateful hearts. We will deeply miss seeing many of our customers on a regular basis, but the friendships and relationships we have built over the years will always be a treasured part of J & J Farm.
This new direction will allow our family to spend more time together while continuing to provide the high-quality beef our customers have come to know and trust.
